Voice Terminal utilizes the most recent version of the POP protocol (Post Office Protocol 3) for receiving e-mail. However, there exist a number of service providers that don't use this protocol. (i.e. Hotmail, MSN and AOL)
They use a proprietary protocol that the Voice Terminal service cannot communicate with at this time. It's for this reason that VTS cannot service your email account because it resides on a mail server with one of these providers.
If you arrivedon this page after testing a Google GMail account, it may mean that you have not yet enabled the POP mail protocol to access your account. The instructions for enabling POP on GMail accounts can be viewed here.
Internet / email accounts compatible with Voice Terminal can be obtained from Audiopoint's alliance-partner EarthLink at: www.earthlink.net.
